I agree with this recommendation. This happened to my husband. First diagnosis was Tcell ALCL- very rare. Sought a clinical trial. Screening for that trial and review of biopsy led to classical Hodgkins dx and regular ABVD treatment.For absolute assurance, I would ask that a second opinion be performed on the biopsy sample, as mistakes are still made in diagnosis. I know of cases in which Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (an aggressive T-Cell type) has been mistaken for Hodgkin's, and vice versa. The treatments are substantially different.
