I just got my results and they told me......

NO acitvity on the gallium scan and the mass is most likley scar tissue 2.7cmx 1.2cm YEAHH!!!!!!!!!!!

SOUNDS LIKE I'M NED !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cale and I are dancing with NED all around the house with the music cranked!

Just one little downer raditation starts on Tuesday as the Canadian Thanksgiving is on Monday. I have a lot to be thankful for and you guys are a huge part of it.

Okay gotta go dance with Cale he is hitting me with a hockey stick.

November 2005 Partial response
Dec 2005-Jan 2006 Rituxan x8
June 2006 Remission
On to Rituxan maintenance every 6 months for 2 years
November 2006 as close to NED as possible
May 2007 - even better scans!
scans are every 6 months
November 2007 No Evidence of Disease!!!!
February 2008 Rituxan maintenance complete
May 2008 Completely normal scans
November 2008 PET scan - NED
graduated to annual scans!

7/06 2nd opinion @ IU Med Center thinks FNHL gr2 and/or gr3 with extranodal involvement in colon, no B symptoms, no other organ or bone marrow issues, tx same as malt
8/06 tx begins r-chop x 6
11/06 tx finished, complete response = NED!
2/07 NED!
2/07 begin maint. Rituxin every 3 mos. for 2 years
5/07,8/07,11/07,6/08,9/08, 1/09 NED
Promoted to 6 month scans.

MCL-diagnosed 4/2/02. R-Hyper-CVAD(8rounds). Remission August 02. Maintenance Rituxan for 2 years, but relapsed 1 1/2 years out. Velcade trial--starting 6/04. Oct. 04--end of Velcade, now radiation to one pesky node... 1/05--NED, once again!! 10/23/06--ran and completed my first marathon!! April 08, relapsed--mass in throat and node in groin---rituxan and velcade. NED declared 1/09.
