Thank you for posting this.......It gives reassurance to those of us who could have it ahead of us. I must say that to someone who is currently "hanging their head" and dealing with pain and other reactions from chemo, they're probably saying "yeah right"......
I still love the positive outlook and promises from you all who have been thru it that it is "doable".

Thanks for the post. I do agree that medicine has come so far that going through treatment and treating the side affects is doable. I have always had a positive attitude. I just wish there was more resources for those with latent effects of treatment. I will post this for others to see as a source of encouragement if they have friends or family that is in the world of cancer.

I agree with that article. I was so terrified of going through chemo, with all the horror stories I was hearing. Now that I am almost done
most of those fears were unfounded. I am one of those who asks questions though, and anything that I suspected was abnormal I called my doctor about. I think for patients who don't pay attention to their body, who don't do what the doctor tell them to, or who don't take their meds, Chemo could become a nightmare. Sometimes of course, it isn't the patients fault, the chemo just affects everyone differently. I would definitely tell someone to undergo chemo if it was a choice of life or death, no questions asked.
