Age at Diagnosis?
Stealing more ideas from the Hodge side. I wonder if they ever steal stuff from us
 Curious how old everyone was when diagnosed.I was 42

Never was sick a day in my life; in fact I STILL have my tonsils. I was 46.

Diagnosed 9/03 with Stage 4, b-cell marginal zone NHL; 63 percent bone marrow involvement W&W for 1.5 years CVP+R, 8 cycles 1/05, began two years of Rituxan maintenance 9/07, 17 rad treatments for 'stubborn' growing node 10/07, surgery for removal of unrelated, benign brain tumor

Jon was 33 yrs. old when he was dx with brain cancer (medulloblastoma) and he was 34 yrs. old when he was dx with DLBCL.
He is 35 now.

Angie w/o Jon (34yrs. old)dx brain cancer after having brain surgery 12/05, rads: 01/06 - 03/06 (5 days a week for 6 wks) large pelvis mass found during routine MRI 12/06 dx: DLBCL 01/07, Stage IV....Mass in pelvis is now over 12cm.....PET showed involvement in the liver, spleen, chest, and several lymph nodes through out Jon's body. starting R-CHOP 02/14/07 6 Cycles Complete 04/26/07 PET Scan 05/08/07..NED!!!

Follicular NHL stage III Grade 1 DX 12/03. Watch and wait. The 'supplement queen'... 'big guns' are curcumin (turmeric) and green tea, vitamins D, E, B12, selenium, CoQ10, fish oils... and lots of other (carefully selected) supplements. Gowp!

PDO (pretty danged old) I am up there in the age range that most NHLers fall in statistically. I am somewhere between 60 and 70. Well o.k., closer to 70.

Joanne was 44 at dx, 56 now.
Worth noting that our group is a skewed cohort (not that there's anything wrong with that : ) , as older people are much less likely to be represented on the Internet. I recall reading the mean age at dx for NHL is about 67.
