What color frosting??????

Does anyone know if there is a color just for Hodgkins? My L and L support group is having a little party at our next meeting to celebrate this years remmissions and I am making a ribbon cake and need to know what color to frost it!!

Ok I am confused. I thought that the Leukimia and Lymphoma society decided that the color for them was red with a white strip. I know that their rubber wrist band is Red and says relentless. While looking at thier e store i found glass pendents and this is what they said the colors stood for:

Available in one of the Society’s colors -
Green: Leukemia
Yellow: Lymphoma
Blue: Myeloma
Red: Society

I also know that Team in Training is lavander.
and some one told me Hodgkins was Teal but I don't know.

Now I'm really confused too!!! I always thought Lymphoma was Lime Green...sorry I can't help!!

Everything I've seen says that lymphoma is lime green...
I do think we have talked about it a while back and that there were a few places that have different colors for it. I'd go with the lime green. Well, thats what I tattooed on my body anyway! LOL!

We had this debate awhile ago and someone actually brought to the LLS attention and they came up with a solution of making the tri colored pin. If you go to the society's e-store, they sell the tri-color pin - Lime green is for lymphoma, blue is for leukemia and orange is for myeloma. In all the places I have searched, I am told that Hodgkins is a lavender color.....

From what I understand lime green represents all Lymphomas and lavender represents ALL cancers. Lavender is a general cancer awareness color. Personally, I like lavender better, but my sis and I wear both pins -- the lime and the lavender pins. I've seen many cancer related sites on this and my answer is based on their sites. However, I had no idea about the Leukemia and Lymphoma society's choosing other colors to represent Leukemia and Lymphoma. I'd wish they stick to same colors.

Enjoy your remission party no matter what color you choose. You deserve this party!

Pardon me if I am confused now, but isn't Hodgkins a type of Lymphoma which would mean that lime green represents both Hodgkin's Disease and also Non-Hodgkins Disease? They are both lymphomas, unless I have mentally blown a fuse, which could be it! Let's solve this mystery! :-0

Yes, the lime green lymphoma ribbon would be for both the Hodge & NHL... I don't know where the lavendar for JUST Hodgkin's came in. Maybe I dreamed it. Plus then we have lavender for ALL cancer... so I think they just want us to buy lots of ribbons & wear rainbows, maybe.
