Encouraging quotes, songs, jokes, etc.
I have been encouraged by several quotes and songs while going through my cancer experience. I was hoping others would share what quotes, songs, sayings, jokes, etc has inspired them.
Here are a few of mine: "The big question is whether you are going to be able to say a hearty yes to your adventure." ~Joseph Campbell "A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes." ~Hugh Downs "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." ~1 Peter 5:7 "Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine." ~Lord Byron "Become a possibilitarian. No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities--always see them for they're always there." ~ Norman Vincent Peale I would love to hear more, so please share what has been encouraging to you!
