I have been encouraged by several quotes and songs while going through my cancer experience. I was hoping others would share what quotes, songs, sayings, jokes, etc has inspired them.
Here are a few of mine: "The big question is whether you are going to be able to say a hearty yes to your adventure." ~Joseph Campbell "A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes." ~Hugh Downs "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." ~1 Peter 5:7 "Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine." ~Lord Byron "Become a possibilitarian. No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities--always see them for they're always there." ~ Norman Vincent Peale I would love to hear more, so please share what has been encouraging to you! "You gain stength, courage and confidence by every experiance in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you think you cannot do"
-Eleanor Roosevelt "Our greatest glory is not in never failing but in rising up every time we fail." -Ralph Waldo Emerson Peace it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. -unknown HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

"Sometimes when you let the big guys you're not afraid of them, all of a sudden, they're not such big guys anymore." --Beaver Cleaver
I used to think cancer was a big guy. Not so much anymore.
